Alex From Diversity

Alex the Chief of Diversity arrived to play one Saturday with no hair.

Latin American women pride themselves over their hair and even choosing a hairdresser to have it treamed is an issue so it was amazing to hear she had donated her hair to make wigs, for children with cancer.  When asked asked why she had cut her hair she answered;

“I believe that no child or animal should go through any pain. I already donate to Battersea dogs and cats home, so I thought what can I do for those children who go through unnecessary hurt. Having gone through the pain of seeing a loved one go through cancer, I found that was the cause I wanted to help. I made a fundraising page for Cancer Research and donated my hair for Little Princess Trust. It’s hard for an adult to go through cancer, let alone a child! It’s a confusing period for them and if I could at least help a kid through this turmoil, I will keep on doing it. The world need a smile at a time to heal all the pain and hurt that already exists, plus, children are our future”.
