About
La Liga is a recreational football league that came about due to the inequalities women faced when playing as part of male leagues. Over the year La Liga has gathered participation from Spanish, Portuguese, African, European and British speakers; it ensures women, wanting to play football can do so in a safe and relaxed environment.
It is family orientated but none the less players are committed and passionate about the game.

Organisers
In response to the inequalities faced by women, playing football; as part of mens leagues, the founders of La Liga Amparo Rendon and Shirley Enriquez decided, to provide a space where women could come together to practice the sport they feel passionate about.
The team is made up of experienced community development organisers committed to the participant of La Liga.
